This beautiful piece is originated from the 70’s DDR era and it was found hanging in one of Europe’s largest chemical plant that has been abandoned for decades. These fixtures were manufactured by the former East Germany company VEB Leuchtenbau Wittenberg and were used in laboratories chemical- and industrial plants especially in areas of danger of explosion. This extraorinary lamp comprises a one-centimeter thick glass tube and two aluminium ends and it can be fitted on the wall or hanged from the ceiling. It is designed to be explosion- splash- and dustproof. The item comes rewired and installed with 2 LED tubes and a 2 m rubber cable. We also send a “hanging kit” in the package including a 2×2 m steel wire so you can hang the lamp up easily.
