Once it was a wall lamp when we found it in a huge hospital in our hometown. The facility closed it’s doors during the late 90’s but many of the furniture and lighting was still there untouched when we got green light to get in. Attached right above the doorway in the X-ray room this beauty was fitted with a germicidal tube and was used to disinfect the surrounding furniture and medical equipments. We removed the old electrical parts and fitted two porcelain bulb holder inside the shade. It now gives a warm, cosy glow with the right bulbs. To make it even more extraordinary there’s also a 4 stage touch dimming system inside the base that allows you to controll the strength of the light by touching any metal part on the item. This feature only works when the light is switched on with the original metal main switch. It can be used as a desk lamp or even as a wall ligh.
